Brexit 

As of January 1^st 2021 the UK left the European Union.  Please note that this means our European customers may be subject to import VAT charged by customs in their own country.  Import VAT varies between countries and is not included in any sales from our online shop.

In addition, we are aware of some Brexit-related delays with items being held at customs so please note this may affect delivery times.

Delivery Times

All our overseas wholesale orders are sent with UPS. Please note shipments do not leave Shetland every day and it may take a day or so before your order reaches the Scottish Mainland.  Shipments are only scanned by UPS when they reach the mainland so tracking information may not show any updates for a few days after we’ve informed you that the order has been shipped.

UK orders may be sent with Parcelforce or UPS depending on size and cost.

All orders are tracked and you will be sent tracking information when the order has been shipped.

Estimated delivery dates will be shown with the tracking information.

Shipping Charges

We try to offer the best shipping prices we can but costs depend very much on size and weight of the shipments.  Generally orders of 10kg (20 books) are most cost effective.

Please get in touch if you would like a shipping quote prior to ordering.

Returns/Faulty Items

If your order arrives in unsatisfactory condition please contact us at info@shetlandwooladventures.com and include photographs of the issue so we can understand the problem and resolve this for you. 

Replacements will be sent for any faulty items received.  Returns are not usually permitted however please email info@shetlandwooladventures.com and we will endeavour to help in any way we can.

Order Limit

Minimum order quantity is 5 items. We will try to accommodate new suppliers who may wish to start with smaller quantities so please get in touch to discuss requirements.
